Jefferson County Democrats Elect New Leadership

STEUBENVILLE, OH –The Jefferson County Democratic Party  elected new leadership on February 6, 2023 after the resignation of our previous Chairman, Robert Martin.  The Executive Committee elevated the Vice Chair, Barbara Baird to Chairperson of the Executive Committee and elected Eddie Abdalla as Vice Chair.  The Central Committee also elected Eddie Abdalla as Chairman of the Central Committee and Eileen Krupinski will remain Vice Chair of the Central Committe.

STEUBENVILLE, OH — The Jefferson County Democratic Party will endorse Sherrod Brown for reelection to the U.S. Senate at our next Committee meeting on April 27, 2023.  

“Sherrod Brown is a champion for Ohio’s working families, and we are thrilled to endorse his reelection to the U.S. Senate,” said Eddie Abdalla, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Jefferson County Democratic Party. “Sherrod has spent his career working to support Jefferson County families. From leading efforts to tackle the opioid crisis, to fighting wrong-headed trade deals and creating Ohio jobs — we know Sherrod has our backs. Ohioans need Sherrod Brown in the U.S. Senate, and we are ready to do everything we can to support his reelection.”

Jefferson County Democratic Party Unveils Website

STEUBENVILLE, OH – April 6, 2023 Jefferson County voters now have a one-stop location for all of the information regarding their Democratic Candidates now that the Jefferson County Democratic Party has unveiled their new website.

“We felt that it was time for us to release the information that voters want and need about their candidates through the medium that is most used in this day in age: the internet,” said Frank DiCarlantonio, the Director of the Jefferson County Democratic Headquarters as well as the party’s new Communication Director.

The website features a variety of information, including an events calendar for both events that are held by candidates representing any part or Jefferson County as a whole and the county party, information about the upcoming slate of candidates on the upcoming ballot, and a way for residents to become reconnected with their county party.

“The party is also proud to announce our new Facebook page under the name of “Jefferson County Democratic Party Ohio” which will allow us to provide stories and up-to-the-minute stories that matter most to the people of Jefferson County,” said DiCarlantonio. “This is meant to be a great tool to be used for the citizens’ benefit.”
